Welcome to Kennyy! We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting any information you share with us while using our bot and web services. This policy transparently explains what we collect, how we use it, and your rights over your data.
1. Data We Collect and Store
To provide the best music experience on Discord, we need to collect specific operational data:
- In the Bot's Database: We permanently store your User IDs (Discord ID), Server IDs (Guilds), custom server configurations (such as which text channel the bot should respond to), and the history of your saved songs (playlists) so you never lose your custom settings.
- On the Web Player / Login (OAuth2): When logging into the dashboard via Discord, we receive your profile information (Avatar, Name, and your Servers). This information is not saved in our servers. It is stored only locally in your own browser during your access session, serving only to display the menus on your screen.
2. How We Use Your Data
All collected information is strictly used to allow the bot to function with all its features:
- Play your requested songs in voice channels.
- Manage queues, volumes, and preferences defined by your server.
- Maintain and allow the loading of your personal playlists saved on Kennyy.
- Securely authenticate your user via Login, using the system approved by Discord itself.
3. Data Sharing
We highly value not only good music but also data privacy. All data usage is strictly internal. We DO NOT share, sell, or pass any user, server, or playlist data to third parties or statistics companies (Analytics).
When you play or search for a song, we query public audio platforms (such as YouTube, Spotify, SoundCloud) to extract the audio on behalf of Kennyy, but we never send your username or Discord ID in these direct queries to them.
4. Data Retention
We guarantee that your data, such as song history, will be saved in the bot for as long as you need to enjoy the content on your server or through the dashboard. At any time, it is fully associated with your encrypted ID under Discord's standards.
5. Deletion Request
You have full rights over your data! If at any time you – either as an individual user or as a server owner – want Kennyy to completely forget all your information, playlists, and settings saved in the database, you can request full removal.
To do this, simply:
- Join our Official Support Server on Discord.
- Open a Support Ticket directed to the team requesting a "Wipe" / Complete Cleansing of your data. Our team will perform the action quickly.
